Built for grounds that get used every day

A treenet gives students somewhere to climb, balance and play together, using the trees already on your site rather than adding built structure.

Primary schools

An outdoor play space that encourages movement, balance and cooperative play.

Secondary schools

A low-key hangout and outdoor learning space for older students.

Childcare centres

Safe, tree-friendly play equipment designed around your existing grounds and supervision setup.

OSHC & vacation care

A standout feature for before/after-school and holiday programs.

Outdoor education providers

Adds a hands-on, nature-based element to camps and outdoor learning programs.

Councils & public playgrounds

A distinctive community play feature built around existing established trees.

We work with facilities and grounds teams, not around them

Every school or council project starts with a site visit that looks at tree health, ground conditions, supervision sightlines and access, so what gets built fits how your grounds actually operate.

We install around term dates and holidays, and walk your grounds team through the finished build and what to check. If your approval process needs specific information from us, tell us early and we will work through what we can provide.

Somewhere for the kids who aren't on the sports field.

A treenet gives quieter students a place to be active without competing.

Recent builds

A selection of treenets woven across the Illawarra, NSW and beyond.

These are residential builds. The same methods apply to school grounds.

Elevated Rope Path

This treenet installation was designed to guide visitors through the site via a continuous elevated rope path. The structure maintains consistent height and spacing while adapting to the natural growth and placement of the trees.

Clear entry and exit points were incorporated to support smooth flow and easy supervision.

Our tree net is a super cool addition to our garden area by Arthur of Slackmate Treenets. Thanks so much for our awesome tree net, we’re so happy with it and stoked to be some of the first to have one of these made by you here in the Illawarra. Hours of fun, outdoor play, relaxation and appreciation of our bushy garden already. I highly recommend Arthur and his tree nets!

FAQs

Is it safe for children?

Treenets are built for children to use with adult supervision, which we always recommend. Every net is hand-woven onsite from 1500 kg rated static rope and inspected with you at handover.

No. Attachment methods are chosen to protect the tree and allow for growth, and we assess tree health at the site visit before quoting.

Yes. Installation is scheduled around terms and holidays.

We assess this at the site visit. Species, health, spacing and trunk diameter all matter, which is why we look in person before quoting.
